#Oilers have placed forward Ryan Hamilton and defenceman Philip Larsen on waivers this morning.
— Edmonton Oilers (@EdmontonOilers) September 29, 2013
The Oilers trim their roster by two, sending winger Ryan Hamilton and defenceman Philip Larsen to the OKC Barons.
I had expected Hamilton to make it to opening night, especially in the wake of Mike Brown and Steve MacIntyre suffering goony injuries in Friday night's preseason game against Dallas. Hope you're good and ready to see a lot more Ben Eager on your television screens. Hamilton had three assists in six games.
It's a good bet that Philip Larsen will make it to Oklahoma City without an issue. With Larsen headed back to the AHL, your top six looks like this (in no particular order...)
- Justin Schultz
- Andrew Ference
- Ladislav Smid
- Anton Belov
- Nick Schultz
- Jeff Petry
extras - Denis Grebeshkov or Corey Potter, whomever is healthy.
Two more days to go.
