Game preview:
Team Reports
Oilers Report: The Oilers have Taylor Hall back in the lineup, but that's not news. The big news is that Mike Brown is in the lineup. While he's not the last tough guy that the Oilers will add this season (and I can't wait for that! Real toughness!) he is going to bring so much attitude and heart to the lineup. There's no way the team will be outplayed with Mike Brown in the lineup.
Blue Jackets Report: I had spaghetti for dinner, and Jack Johnson is back in the lineup. Spaghettification coming.
Expected Line Combinations
Magnus Paajarvi - Sam Gagner - Jordan Eberle
Taylor Hall - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Ales Hemsky

Ben Eager - Ryan Smyth - Mike Brown
Justin Schultz - Nick Schultz
Ladislav Smid - Jeff Petry
Theo Peckham - Ryan Whitney
Devan Dubnyk
Scratches: Corey Potter, Lennart Petrell
Broadcast Information
By The Numbers
The Blue Jackets chance at having a special draft has been ruined by the rebounds in New York and Los Angeles. At one point they were set to draft #2, #5, #10. Now they're set to draft #1, #18 and #26.
Four Oilers average more than one point per game versus the Jackets: Sam Gagner, Taylor Hall, Ales Hemsky, Magnus Paajarvi. Without Kristian Huselius, there are no Jackets that average more than one point per game against Edmonton.
Edmonton has lost the STE lead and has, in fact, slipped to #3 at 107.4. They are behind St. Louis and Chicago. Regression is lassoing them in. Columbus is 21st at 98.2
Edmonton is 9th in even strength save percentage at .924, Columbus is 25th at .904.
Jack Johnson is in the lineup tonight!
