The Edmonton Oilers announced today the assignment of Denis Grebeshkov and Will Acton to the OKC Barons and have recalled Corey Potter, Martin Marincin and Anton Lander.

This move comes on the heals of this tweet from Ryan Rishaug.
Eakins used the term "resetting the player" today. He’s used that before when referring to scratching a player. Message sending time ?

Obviously what Eakins' meant by resetting the player was to shuffle things up to find something that works. It's interesting that Will Acton has finally been moved off of the Oilers roster. The fact that the Oilers have recalled Anton Lander could also mean a healthy scratch of another center if Boyd Gordon is ready to play.
This is also Martin Marincin's first call up to the big team. I wonder if he sees action or if this is a similar move to the Oscar Klefbom move earlier in the month.
I guess we'll see.
