• Jason LaBarbera was called up to fill in the backup role while Ilya Bryzgalov is out with an "upper body injury", but it could be a concussion.  Corey Potter was sent down to OKC to make room for LaBarbera.  Bryzgalov wasn't put on IR, which suggests that he's not expected to miss a lot of time.  I hope it's not a concussion.
• Boyd Gordon is out for a second consecutive game.  With his list of injuries, don't be surprised if he's on the shelf for more than a minute or two.
• Whoa there, bottom six.  Ryan Smyth with Will Acton and Jesse Joensuu?  What lottery did 94 win to be so lucky?  Ryan Jones did help Defending Big Dset up a Hemsky goal last game, so for that, he should be commended. But really, did Smyth cut Eakins in line at A&W or something?

It took the Oilers less than 30 games to kill Boyd Gordon; makes you wonder how Horcoff lasted as long as he did
