Blues @ Oilers Game 38 Lines And Pairings

New, comments

Gazdic? You're promoted.

Ben Nelms

  • First of three meetings between the Blues and Oilers in 2013-14.
  • Also, it's the first meeting since Edmonton traded Magnus Paajarvi for David Perron. Perron's been flourishing for Edmonton, while Paajarvi's role has been limited for St. Louis.
  • Brian Elliott is confirmed to start for St. Louis, while I've got Bryzgalov down for Edmonton.
  • Do not let your eyes deceive you, Gazdic is paired with Gagner and Yakupov.  Yeah, I'm thrilled as well.
  • The Blues are second in league scoring. The Oilers allow a ton of goals. What could possibly go wrong?
  • Look for updates to these lines as the day progresses. The Blues could do us a solid and play without a goaltender. More on this as it progresses.
