HOT TAKES!

  • Jeff Petry will be out tonight as he recovers from getting his head smashed due to a hit from Calgary's Sven Baertschi.
  • Ditto on Boyd Gordon. Gordon was in a yellow non-contact jersey yesterday. Think he's got a few more days before he'll be back.
  • With Petry out, look for Anton Belov to work his way back in. Belov shouldn't have been scratched to begin with, but I'm certain that the coaching staff plays the best players at all times, giving the Edmonton Oilers the best chance to win every game they possibly can. Now, today, forever, and always.
