• Boyd Gordon will be out today with what I believe is a shoulder injury. Will Acton will find a home on the fourth line, which should bump Arcobello up between Smyth and Perron. I try not to speak in certain terms. Once I start putting things down for certain, Sweet Lou Gazdic will pop his head out from behind a bush.
• Ilya Bryzgalov will get his third consecutive start for the Oilers today. Thought Dubnyk would get in the mix, but it's looking like the club is trying to suss out what they have in Bryzgalov in short order.
• The Stars begin their season without Stephane Robidas. Robidas fractured his leg on Friday versus Chicago. He's out for at least four months. Jamie Oleksiak was called up from Texas to replace him today.
• These lines could change. Should they change, we will update them accordingly.
