HOT TAKES
- Oilers look to get back in the win column tonight against the Predators. If the Oilers win tonight (and if you forget the first 21 games of the season), they will have won four of their last five. Selective statistics? Most definitely.
- Ilya Bryzgalov is slated to get his first start as a member of the Oilers. He'll need to be good, because if he's not, he'll be everyone's new favourite enigma. At least Hemsky and Yakupov will breathe a little easier if that's the case.
- Nothing official yet, but I'm thinking Arcobello and Jones get back in the swing of things. Your mileage may vary, but I've got them both on the fourth line for now. Keep your eyes peeled, because things change. If they do, look for updates. UPDATE: Arcobello is in. About time. Also in: Ryan Jones.
