The Oilers could really use a win here. They'll get an opportunity tonight against a Calgary Flames team ranked 13th in the West, just one spot over the last place Oilers. Not coincidentally, the Oilers are now ranked last in the NHL in points after the Sabres (!) defeated the Maple Leafs in Buffalo.
Keep an eye on these lines, as they'll be updated if the Oilers want to take a decent hockey player and stuff him in the minors for a guy who's probably not ready for prime time. These things happen though, you know, to give the team the best chance to win the draft lottery game.
So c'mon, Oilers. Just one win (coupled with a Sabres loss in regulation tonight in Toronto) will put you back in 29th.
You can do it!
