Fischer's commentary:
Tom Gulitti reported at Fire & Ice that the following lines and pairings were used in Sunday's practice. Usually, DeBoer will use what he sets up in practice the day before a game.
This the same roster that started the Islanders game. I would have liked to see some changes such as Olesz and Josefson replacing Gionta and Carter; Jagr being kept on the fourth line instead of having (he's been slow and not effective in his first two games. In his defense, he didn't play in preseason); Damien Brunner away from Elias; and Fayne staying on the bench. That said, the Henrique-Zajac-Ryder did very well on Friday, Brunner has had a good start, and Greene's the leading man. Brodeur's expected to start, or at least I hope so because I'd rather have him in this game than against a superior Canucks squad.
