G 25 Wild at Oilers - Lowetide
Lines in practice yesterday had Gagner on the 2line and Paajarvi back down on the 3line. If he doesn't shave those sideburns I don't know what'll happen. Coach Renney will probably go with NK tonight, Dubnyk's sideburns have been getting a little long too.

Game Day "Wild" - Oilers Jambalaya
It is up to this team to show their home fans what they are truly made of. This team has enough top end forward talent and decent top 4 defenceman to come out of this game with yet another win. The question remains, "Are the Edmonton Oilers for real? Or were they catching a early break on the teams in the early goings of the season?"

Lander Should Not Have Remained in the NHL - Oil Acumen
Before all the Anton Lander fans out there decide they want to start putting anthrax in my pillowcase, it should be said that Lander is a good player and will be part of the future of the Oilers. It's just that the future isn't now.

Tom Gilbert, No. 1 Defenseman - OilersNation
One of those pleasant surprises has been the play of Tom Gilbert. A polarizing figure among Oilers fans, Gilbert is a rarity: a competent, perpetually healthy NHL-calibre defenseman on a blue line that’s been handed over to the young, the unknown, the barely capable and the injury-prone far too often over the last few years. Over the first quarter of this season, he’s hit new highs in terms of performance.

Why Ryan O’Marra Just Might Make This NHL Stay Permanent - Cult of Hockey
Were I Anton Lander, I’d be a little nervous today

Oilers Give Ryan O'Marra the Call - The Copper & Blue
From what I can tell, O'Marra hasn't been on fire. He has just 8 points in 20 games, and hasn't gotten many opportunities on a featured line. In fact, in the game that I saw in Abbotsford, he started the game on the fourth line before moving up after Josh Green was injured.
