Edmonton's top affiliate could be in Oklahoma City beginning with the 2010 season. The Oilers have been in discussions in recent months to move its dormant AHL club to OKC, according to the Oklahoman. Today, the parent company of the CHL's Oklahoma City Blazers ceased operations of that club and filed paperwork toward starting an AHL team there.
