Patrick Laforge held a news conference today to answer questions about a proposed new arena for the Edmonton Oilers. During that conference, he was asked how big a new arena might be.

Is Rexall Place dilapidated or a top-tier facility? According to the Edmonton Journal, it's both.

The NHL and Charles Wang say the Islanders can't make money without a new arena. I say the Islanders can't make money as long as their management and ownership can be best described by the word "incompetent".
