The Edmonton Oilers might be considering the possibility of relocating to Seattle.

The Oilers are openly blackmailing their fans and aren't ashamed of it.

Last season Jordan Eberle, in his second in the league, blew away expectations by scoring 34 goals and adding 42 assists for 76 points in 78 games. Today the Oilers rewarded him with a six-year contract worth $36 million.

This morning the Oilers announced via Twitter that Taylor Hall has agreed to terms on a seven-year extension worth a total of $42M or an average of $6M per season. As far as I'm concerned this is a good deal for the Oilers.
