Luke Gazdic Clears Waivers
Luke Gazdic clears waivers and is assigned to the @Condors.
— Edmonton Oilers (@EdmontonOilers) February 4, 2016
I'm not sure anyone is surprised by this. A few folks in the media had suggested that Gazdic would be claimed if the Oielrs were to place him on waivers. I always doubted that, but would have been okay with it had it happened since that would mean that he'd no longer be a member of the Oilers organization. In the end he did clear waivers and will now call Bakersfield his home. Whether or not we see him in Edmonton again probably has more to do with Zack Kassian than anything Gazdic is going to do in the AHL.
McDavid and the AHL
Does a conditioning stint in the AHL for Connor McDavid make sense?
Oilers Recall Reinhart. Place Davidson on the IR.
The Oilers place a call to Bakersfield to replace Brandon Davidson.
Oilers Place Rob Klinkhammer on Waivers
Elliott (ARIZ) and Klinkhammer (EDM) on waivers
— Elliotte Friedman (@FriedgeHNIC) January 14, 2016
Some roster news from the Oilers this morning, the team has placed Rob Klinkhammer on waivers. In 13 games this season Klinkhammer has scored one goal, has four penalty minutes, and is -6. Because Klinkhammer won't clear waivers (assuming he clears) until tomorrow morning, if the team plans to play Nail Yakupov tonight they will have to send another player down to make room.
Eberle to LTIR; Draisaitl Recalled
The #Oilers have recalled forward Leon Draisaitl from the @Condors and placed forward Jordan Eberle on LTIR. pic.twitter.com/oQtrAPt7B7

If you're keeping track at home, Jordan Eberle joins, Justin Schultz, Rob Klinkhammer, Matt Hendricks, and Griffin Reinhart on the injured reserve. And just to keep you on you toes, Joey LaLeggia and Tyler Pitlick are on their way back to Bakersfield.

Nurse, Moroz, Gernat, and Pakarinen Cut From Camp
#Oilers assign Darnell Nurse, Mitch Moroz, Martin Gernat & Iiro Pakarinen to @Condors. Roster now sits at 28 players (3G, 10D, 15F).
— Edmonton Oilers (@EdmontonOilers) September 30, 2015
We now know the answer to the question, will Darnell Nurse make the Oilers out of training camp? And the answer is no, he won't. Nurse will instead be starting the season with the Condors in Bakersfield.
Tyler Pitlick and Three Others Clear Waivers
Tyler Pitlick is running out of chances to establish himself with the Oilers.

Marco Roy Returns to the Oilers. Sort Of.

— Bakersfield Condors (@Condors) August 11, 2015
When the Oilers didn't offer Marco Roy a contract this summer they forfeited his rights making him a free agent. But after a few months of looking for a job elsewhere he's back with the organization, sort of at least, having signed on with the Oilers AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors.
Tyler Pitlicks Re-Signs With the Oilers For One Year
On the heels of the Justin Schultz and Brandon Davidson signings, the Oilers have finalized a contract with their last remaining restricted free agent, Tyler Pitlick. Like the previous two contracts, Pitlick's deal is for just one season. A season where hopefully he can stay healthy for a change.
Oilers and Brandon Davidson Agree To One-Year Deal
Yesterday the Oilers got a deal done with one of their three restricted free agents, Justin Schultz, and today they got a deal done for another one. This time is was Brandon Davidson signing on the dotted line. As usual the dollar amount has not been released yet. This leaves Tyler Pitlick as the Oilers' final unsigned restricted free agent.
