The play of this defencemen has seemed to earn him a regular spot on this D corps. I know it's not really saying a whole lot since it is the Oilers but his play keeps improving game after game and we might be looking at a top pairing D-man? He has poise with the puck and his panic threshold is way above everyone in the lineup. Imagine the education that's coming up at the Olympics playing potentially with Big Z.

At age 21, this young man is just beginning to fill out too. At 6'4" & 188 lbs now, I can see him filling out to 225lbs.+ in two years. He's a keeper IMHO; and D-men, as we all know, take a tad longer to develop. With his lack of NHL experience, I think he's showing quite well.

How do you all think he's handling everything so far? I'm excited to see where this journey will take him and the Oilers.
