After Elliot Friedman's comments about Toronto's underlying stats (presumably Corsi) are poor, I decided to check them out. Toronto's Corsi (28th) is indeed near the bottom of the league. However, I was surprised to find both Anaheim (26th) and Minnesota (24th) to be in the bottom 6. The top 8 are not surprising: LA, Boston, Chicago, New Jersey, Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal, & St. Louis. Pittsburgh is on the cusp at 15. I know that Corsi is not the be-all and end-all of a team's performance, but for you stats folks, what explains Anaheim's performance?
