I have being playing with consistency, and I wanted to see who is helping the Oilers the most at this stage. There are of course flaws to this, as it doesn't include PP or PK or 4 v 4. These are 5 v 5 stats only through the first 11 games. I have sorted it by Fenwick Relative as there is some school of thought that this is the most representative.
The methodology is simple, 50% or better on a single game gets you +1, 50% or less -1 and even is NIL. So each total is out of 11. The idea is that Arcobello(9-2-0) contributed to a victory in 7 more games than he contributed to a loss. On the opposite side, Mike Brown(2-6-0) contributed to 4 more losses than he did victories while he was with the Oilers. Based on the FelRelTOT category.
It is actually very interesting on how the Oilers vary differently from Corsi to Fenwick to their relative values. Arcobello and Eberle have been the best performers. Ference has also done well.
