I thought it was quite interesting, the reason Seguin can't play in the AHL is due to the fact that the Bruins made the playoffs, if he hadn't he would be waiver exempt as the playoffs put him over the 160 games allowed.

For wikidoubters you can go to Capgeek download the CBA and pull out this chart.
RNH will be the first forward 1st overall pick to play in the AHL since Patrick Stefan. Hopefully this doesn't affect RNH's ability to hit an empty net.
My biggest question though is why would the Avalanche rather Landeskog play in Europe than with their AHL affiliate??
