How Craig MacTavish REALLY Handled Toby Petersen

Stay connected for news and updates

In 10 years people are going to talk about Toby Petersen like he was played 25 minutes per night on the top line the way this shit is going.

In 06-07 Petersen:

played 64 games (9th amongst F)
played a total of 874 minutes and 46 seconds (10th amongst F)
played 662 minutes and 47 seconds at ES (9th amongst F)
played 87 minutes on the PP (9th amongst F)

So he was basically a 3rd liner on a team that suffered a bunch of injuries and dressed basically an AHL team for the last 20 games of the regular season. Can we let this crap about how MacT favoured Petersen die already?

--Dawgbone, in the comments of the Craig MacTavish article.

Given the short, and nearly always convoluted memories of the average sports fan, it's interesting how far from the truth the Petersen narrative has become.

So, yeah, Can we let this crap about how MacT favoured Petersen die already?
