The Instigator Rule - bluenotezone.com
One of the rules highlighted in those rules changes, however, seems to have recently drawn the ire of fans and, now, the NHL Players’ Association. You’ll be able to find that rule change under its’ own heading in the above link . . . it is the Instigator Rule.

A Little Closer Look At The St. Louis Blues And Concussions - St. Louis Game Time
The concussion has to be the most frustrating injury in sports. Each brain reacts differently to a bruise. There are no outward physical signs, guys don't limp or need a cast. Yet they can be debilitating and career-ending.
Blues Make Right Call, Stand Pat at Deadline - St. Louis Game Time
Hours ago the trade deadline passed and the Blues didn't make a move (unless you count the move that the team made a day before the trade deadline which doesn't count because, shit, that doesn't fit the narrative).
Throwdown Lowdown – Blues @ Oilers - bluenotezone.com
Now, the Blues go north to central Alberta to face the Edmonton Oilers. If it weren’t for the Columbus Blue Jackets being the worst team in the NHL, the Oilers would at least be the worst team in the Western Conference. Alas, for this season, they are trumped. But watch out for these guys in a few years, as with all the talent they’ve collected by being one of the worst teams in the league year-in and year-out, they should be a force to reckon with soon.

Oilers vs. Blues – Game 63 – Putting on the Foil
So.. on to the game. Usual suspects are scratched, plus Sutton in favor of Schultz. I’d prefer to see Barker out, but I can only assume that they’re doing their due diligence here to fully test that this turd can’t float before jettisoning him at the end of the year.
G63 Blues at Oilers - Lowetide
Not much to say about the game tonight, Hitchcock is like Hitchcock in that you know someone is going to be dead and the victim is obvious after the first few frames. The genius of the Hitchcock’s is you’re not exactly sure where the plot twists.
