I was looking at the Oilers #1 ranked powerplay and noticed some anomalies.

Neither the top ranked PP (Oilers) or top ranked PK (Canadiens) are likely to make the playoffs. Wonder is that has happened before.

Also intriguing is that the Oilers GiveAway the puck at home(535) twice as much as on the road(214), with a comparatively smaller difference in takeaways(266-205), but they have a better record at home.

The Oilers also have taken the least shots on goal in the NHL this year - not a surprise or an anomaly - just felt like pointing that out.
