Unless the Oilers play at a 50-point pace the rest of the way, I think they’re clear of the Jackets, and as bad as they are, that doesn’t seem too likely.

Nope, getting points in 4 straight games pretty much prevents a last place finish. A 13 point lead is tough to blow when you are talking about some of the worst teams in the NHL.

In theory, there is little difference between practice and theory, but in practice there is!
