Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

The Oilers have recalled Milan Kytnar from the Stockton Thunder this morning on an emergency basis to fill in for Ryan O'Marra who is apparently feeling ill. If O'Marra can't go Kytnar will get a chance to play the first NHL game of his career tonight.

This season is like one long sick joke. It might be funny, only we’ve heard it before, and before, and before.

…is this a joke? I guess it’s officially giving up and not wanting to take anyone else from OKC? I don’t remember much of this guy from training camp other than that I didn’t really notice him. I sure hope he’s at least been tearing it up in the ECHL to warrant an NHL shot.

I think it was about needing a true centerman ASAP and Kytnar is the closest via Seattle. Otherwise an OKC call-up would have occurred.

Heard on Team 1260 that there where no flights available for the Barons to make it in time.

Good for him… dream come true if it happens. I’m amazed he hasn’t been permanent in OKC though… especially after all the callups.
