Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

In what will surely be a shock to many a reader here at Copper & Blue, streaky former Edmonton Oilers' goaltender Jeff Deslauriers has signed a two year contract with the Anaheim Ducks. The first year will have Deslauriers on a two way deal, the second a one way deal. When JDD was on his game, I liked him, he was good. When he was bad, not so much. We wish him well.

Did JFJ advocate for his fellow outcast?

You can’t help but wonder can you? They did play a bit in OKC together.

I mean two castoffs of the 30th place team and you have to wonder what is going on?

This was the best deal that JDD could get given the market as it is at the moment

I was expecting JDD to the KHL or the Swiss Elite league or some such thing but he’s getting a one way contract with Anahiem? Between JFJ and JDD getting contracts with a Duck I’m convinced having a J in your name is a key factor to getting a contract with the Ducks.

The two J’s are no longer our problem. Best wishes and we wait for what happens in the next 10 years

They’ll win a Stanley Cup before the Oilers do. Because that’s how the Universe works.
