TSN is reporting that Taylor Hall is out for the rest of the season, which is a surprise to pretty much no one in Oil Country; the news just gets better and better doesn't it folks?

If we want to look for the bright side, this will give other Oiler prospects and players a chance to step up their offence and earn their next contracts.

We still have Eberle don’t we?? Oh god are the next couple of weeks going to be hard to watch. Do we call up Hartikainen in the midst of a Barons playoff push?

Thankfully, yes Eberle and Paajarvi are still healthy. Knock on wood! It’s hard to say what the Oilers will do now, the Barons need to make the playoffs to help get fans watching in OKC. Maybe MacIntyre gets the minutes in the Oilers’ season push of their own.

No, no, no, you’ve got it all wrong. We only trade the guys who aren’t injury-prone, for picks.

Boy, if only we had a talentless goon who could only play four minutes a night. He’d have prevented this from happening.

SNN Sports - A theoretical Oilers blog (i.e. theoretically, I write stuff there). Link now 100% less broken.
