Bryan Pitton In for OKC; Gerber Injury Update
by Neal Livingston on Mar 17, 2011 11:38 AM MDT
In the wake of Martin Gerber's exit last night due to an injury he sustained after being toppled over in net, Bryan Pitton has been recalled from Stockton and will enter the Barons roster in Illinois for games against Rockford and Chicago.
Martin Gerber did travel with the team, and is currently listed as day-to-day. Good news thus far, and no specific word was given on the type of injury he sustained other than some neck soreness.
The Barons play Rockford Friday and Chicago on Saturday as they are still in the playoff picture, but they find themselves down five of their top seven scorers including O`Marra, Giroux, VandeVelde, and Hartikainen.
