Around SBN: Roy Nelson Willing to Pay for His Next Opponent's Drug Test

In my mind, I think they made the right decision. Wedgewood played well. He really came in and secured that spot. I just wasn’t good enough camp.

That's Tyler Bunz talking about being cut from Team Canada for this year's World Juniors. This is a very tough day for anyone that doesn't make the team, but Bunz is handling the disappointment with aplomb.

Yeah, because a four-day camp is more indicative of talent level than the last year and a half of WHL play.

SNN Sports - A theoretical Oilers blog (i.e. theoretically, I write stuff there). Link now 100% less broken.

Agreed. Pretty surprised that Bunz isn’t going to be the starter coming out of the camp, much less not making the cut at all.

So now Oiler prospects on Team Canada then. That makes this tournament that much less enthralling for me.
At least Mark Pysyk made the team or it would really be un-interesting.

“…have been pounded out of you like a Sutton to the face?”

You sir have a way with words; alas that I cannot rec on mobile. Something like that, only I rarely experience live radio or televised broadcast anymore.

10+ hours a day the only thing I have to drown out my boss yelling at his speaker phone is my radio, I usually just leave it on team 1260 except from 10am to noon, I’d rather listen to someone chew for 2 hours than the Jim Rome show.

You poor bastard. My manager uses the conference room now so we don’t try to kill him. As a youth I worked in the back of a grocery store. They pumped out a steady diet of N’sync, Backstreet Boys, Boyz 2 Men etc.

That’s funny, I spent a decade working in grocery stores but it was mostly 97.3 k-rock
