This draft is looking very shallow in terms of talent to me but I still have to wonder about not taking Anaheim’s 2nd rounder this year considering their poor play so far.

I think Zona et al. did an analysis on the value of different draft picks and it looks like there won’t be a huge difference between say a 31st or a 40th overall:
