Petry feeling "under the weather" leading to Plante's recall from OKC but the move is precautionary, according to Coach Tom Renney
Admit it, you thought Plante was recalled because Ryan Whitney hurt a foot, ankle, arch, or toe, right?

For a moment I thought that Plante had been recalled because having seven defencemen on the roster (and particularly our roster) was the safe and sensible thing to do at any time. But alas.

Last night I had a little accident and cut my toe open. Ended up needing stitches. When I read that Plante got called up this morning I was completely and utterly convinced that somehow, someway my injury had been transferred to Whitney and knocked him out of the lineup for 3 weeks.
