Who will have a better career Tyler Seguin or Taylor Hall?

I posted this on Stanley Cup of Chowder and thought I should post it here as well being the two are having their only regular season meeting tonight.  There may be a lot of bias on here for this question for each blog, but who has the better career between either one of these upcoming superstars? Hall had a much better season last year even though he didn't finish the year. And Seguin is having  what looks to be a monster year in the works this season.

Right now, it’s gotta be Tyler Seguin. While I will 100% agree that Hall had a stronger rookie regular season, I believe much of this had to do with the fact that Boston really didn’t need Seguin to get through the regular season. Drafting Seguin was just a bonus from the Kessel deal.
Now, Seguin had his coming out party in the 2nd round of the playoffs, and that confidence has spilled over into this year. Seguin now skates with Marchand and Patrice, who are two pretty good linemates themselves. In addition, Seguin is already on the Cup, got to party like a rockstar all summer, and had notorious topless photos.
As for future play, I do believe that Hall is a more dynamic offensive player, but I also believe that Seguin’s overall abilities will make him a slightly better player.

This is a silly question. They are both look to be good players who will have very good careers.

Who cares if one ends up with 105% of the career of the other? They both look to be in the same ballpark…err…hockey rink. Neither looks to be a bust.

Two teams won. Neither team lost.

As far as I could tell, there weren’t any views presented in the post. Which is a shame.

I don’t think one is going to have a “better” career in the sense that one guy will significantly outscore the other. I do think that Seguin will end up having a more valuable career simply because he’s a C and in my opinion elite C > elite W.
