Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

The AHL provides each team with a balanced schedule meaning for each game Oklahoma City hosts an opponent, the Barons will travel to that city.

Consdiering the Barons will only play thirteen different opponents in a thirty-team league the AHL's definition of "balanced schedule" is clearly quite a bit different from mine. The Barons will play each team in their division between six and ten times, the rest of the teams in their conference between zero and six times, and won't play teams from outside their conference at all. That's almost as balanced as college football!

It’s the only way to cut the travel costs.

Imagine if there was a California division – they’d only play themselves.

If there were teams all down the Pacific coast, the AHL schedule would be less of a joke.

I am excited about this . . . they play twice in Onterrible (where I live) and twice in Detriot. I will be buying the Hamilton and Toronto tickets as soon as they release them.

I’m hitting up the Cleveland matchup at least once.

And they’re coming to Abbotsford twice too. It looks like our little community will get to see them play live quite a bit!

I got nothing in my neck of the woods. I guess I’ll have to be content with watching the Oil Kings get demolished three times next year.
