New Edmonton Oiler Taylor Hall

Not so long ago, Taylor Hall and Jordan Eberle were both wearing Team Canada jerseys and making their mark at the 2010 world junior hockey championship.

Now they’ll get a chance to help rebuild the Edmonton Oilers!!!

Jordan Eberle said he was excited and anxious to get to camp in September. Eberle had spoken to Hall the night before the draft and knew how badly he wanted to go to Edmonton(Heatley could learn a few things from him). The Oilers if they get rid of a few players that they are trying to will have one of the youngest teams in the NHL. They will have the likes of Hall, Eberle, Paajarvi-Svensson, Gagner, Omark and brule(if he signs before July 1), add that to Hemsky and Penner(if they are still here) and Fraser. And there Defence like Whitney, Gilbert, Smid and Petry, They should be a great team 2 or 3 years from now.

Hall is a winner and from what I hear Tamby say it was him saying he wan’t to win a Stanley cup in the future that made up the Oiler Management’s mind. Hall hates to lose, Eberle Hates to lose and Svensson hates to lose which is what the Oilers are trying to get, Players that hate to lose.

The question mark is in Goal with JDD and Dubnyk, One has to go  and the one they keep is only going to be go to be a backup, They need to find a Starter a Trade or July 1 as Khabibulin has put the Oiler in the ground with his DUI sage down in Phoenix.  Could they target Turco or Mason of trade for a Goalie. Also who could they be targeting in July as a Defenceman or Forward, Maybe Colby Armstrong, or a younger player

I have to agree with Eberle I am excited as well to see these players play in September. The Oilers add a winner on Friday and Make the Oilers better then they were a week ago. Steve Tambellini on Saturday stocked up on some talent.

-- Forward Curtis Hamilton, 48th overall, from the WHL's Saskatoon Blades.

-- Centre Ryan Martindale, 61st overall, from the OHL's Ottawa 67's.

-- Defenceman Jeremie Blain, 91st overall, from the QMJHL's Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

-- Goalie Tyler Bunz, 121st overall, from the WHL's Medicine Hat Tigers.

-- Defenceman Brandon Davidson, 162nd overall, from the WHL's Regina Pats.

-- Forward Drew Czerwonka, 166th overall, from the WHL's Kootenay Ice.

-- Forward Kristians Pelss, 181st overall, from Latvia.

-- Forward Kellen Jones, 202nd overall, from the BCHL's Vernon Vipers.

I think that the Edmonton Oilers have a Bright Future and only time will tell how many of this young players will turn out to be great player!!! Have a Great weekend Everyone!!!
