Rajala Resurrected
After being eliminated by the Calgary Hitmen in the WHL playoffs, Toni Rajala's Brandon Wheat Kings eliminated the Hitmen in the Memorial Cup semi-final and have advanced to today's final against (future Oiler?) Taylor Hall and the Windsor Spitfires. Rajala himself has had a wonderful tournament. He leads Brandon in scoring with two goals and five assists in Brandon's four games including a beautiful assist on the winning goal in the semi-final against the Hitmen. Hall, meanwhile, leads Windsor in scoring with six points in only three games. The final is at 5:00 p.m. MST and will be televised on Sportsnet.
