Before the new season…

Could he be any less ambiguous?

Jagr has said he LOVES the Russian spirit (much to the chagrine of Czech people everywhere) but I don’t think they can afford him. Also, he does not have much Playoff success in the KHL so I’m surprised they want him back (I’ve heard crazy stats suggesting he is half the payroll etc.). I still don’t think there is a chance he signs in Edmonton as it doesn’t make sense for him or the team. However, Roman Cervenka seems to be showing some interest (I think signing him would be a mistake).
