The funny thing is, Sutter has clearly whiffed before and badly. If the disaster that was the Jokinen trade doesn’t convince people that the guy is obviously fallible, I’m not sure what will.

Of course, years of Milbury, JFJ, MacLean and Sather bumbling along should prove the wider point, but the appeal to authority carries a lot of weight in many quarters.
