Falcons Also Cooking; Have Won Three of Four
With a 7-5 victory last night over the Lowell Lock Monsters Devils, the Springfield Falcons have won three of their last four games, with their only loss a 5-3 game to the Binghamton Senators. The winning goaltenders for the Falcons were Devan Dubnyk (twice during the Olympic break) and Bryan Pitton.
The woeful Falcons are only three points back of the Grand Rapids Griffins for not-last in the American Hockey League.

Pitton, Minard, and Wiseman were on fire the other night watching the game. Pitton is a SOLID goalie, hopefully he will be up in OKC next year.

I must admit I’m surprised by Pitton’s turnaround this year. Some goalies take awhile to get it, I guess. I thought he was a “no hoper”.
Interesting that we beat the Devils twice on the same day.

Yeah, I had Pitton written off. Who knew he could do what he’s done this year?

I’m not fooled. He’s the AHL’s Jim Carey!
