Obviously they are just preparing for the upcoming 14 game winning streak which will pull us out of Hall/Seguin territory.

Scouting Fowler seems smart. If they finish 29th overall there’s a reasonable chance that they end up picking 3rd at which point Fowler is certainly in the conversation. I took “it depends where they end up in the lottery” to mean that the Oilers must really want one guy (I’d guess Hall) and that if he’s gone they’d consider taking Fowler. Let’s hope that if they go that route they can at least trade down although I’d still much prefer one of the two forwards.

Interesting, considering Brownlee was saying the other day that the Oilers were after Hall and would but would be happy with Seguin
