Ask Anton Lander

What if - and believe me this is a hypothetical - but what if you able to ask Anton Lander a question? Would that do anything for you?

Star-divide

From time-to-time, we here at The Copper & Blue get a chance to speak to some of the prospects in the organization.  Often times a commenter brings up a great question that we neglected to ask.  There's a possibility that some time in the near future we're going to have a conversation with Oiler prospect and Timrå Assistant Captain Anton Lander.  We want to make sure that we don't overlook a good question or topic of discussion as we prep for our talk with Lander.

Johan and Timrå blogger Jimmy Hamrin looked at Lander a couple of months ago in an excellent breakdown.  If there was anything in that report that piqued your interest, if there is anything that you'd like to know about the WJCs, let us know in the comments and we'll do our best to get the question answered.

Ask him how willing he is to play in the AHL and how much weight where Pajarvi plays has on his decision of where to play.

Questions for Lander

Why were you given an “A” this season, and what does that mean to you?

Which players do you look up to, and why?

What is the weakest part of your game? What are you doing to improve it?

Zona: Mostly I look forward to the same types of interviews you’ve already knocked off. Some of my preferred questions (which you probably already had loaded):

 * Where would you prefer to play next season if you were given the choice between SEL and AHL?

 * Do you have any concerns with transitioning to a NA surface/game?

 * Has the Oilers’ organization been in contact with you and do they provide any insight on how they feel about your progress?

 * Do you follow the Oilers? Followup if affirmative: Are you aware of their current lack of defensively strong centers?

Looking forward to it.
