Falling Short of Expectations: Bottom Corsi Underachievers

More fine work from the lovely and talented Gabriel Desjardins in this post about Exceeding Expectations: Top Corsi Overachievers. Gabe is a balanced individual - especially for a numbers guy - so he looks at both the top and bottom 30 of the league. Experienced Oiler fans surely know where to look for the names of some of the local zeroes. No surprise to find three Oilers who have received quite a pounding here at the Copper & Blue this season. Nice to get some independent confirmation from such an authoritative source that we've been on the right track.

In related news Fernando Pisani's many fans are advised to look only at the bottom half of that bottom 30.

Pisani’s QUALTEAM is also by far the worst among all Oilers who’ve played at least 1 game in the NHL this year. Not that much worse than Stone, but twice as bad as the next guy on the list.

So he’s getting poor results, but it’s uncertain who is the one driving them. Considering by the looks of his QoT, he’s been playing with not only the Oilers’ worst players, but apparently all of them at once. Not to mention he passes the eye test.

Not to mention he passes the eye test.

He does have two of them.

If it’s not already clear, I’m one of those Pisani fans.
