It was an interesting analysis. Dubinsky Rozisval and Girardi for cogliano and Souray. We do end up bringing in more salary than clearing.
But we might be able to trade rosizval to some team like FLA who might love the cap hit and dont mind paying just 7 mil over the course of 2 years.
I very much doubt that they would love the cap hit. Are there currently any teams paying less money than the cap? A lot of people mention this strategy and it seems like it should be one poorer teams employ but so far, I don’t see any evidence that it’s happening.
