Smytty's 1000th Game
Ryan Smyth celebrated his 1000th career regular season game with a second period goal in the Kings' 4-1 victory over the Predators. I know they're not "my" team, but come April - May and June too if things go well - this blog may have a thing or two to say about the L.A. Kings.

The Kings are a very likable team, and I could definitely see myself cheering for them come playoff time (assuming Edmonton doesn’t, somehow incredibly, make the playoffs). It’d be great to see Smytty lead another team to the Finals.
