Watch Stephen Weiss playing the center position to perfection while in the defensive zone. Weiss begins the video on the goal line on the near side. He comes to the battle to support the puck, snags it and sends it up ice out of the zone. These are the simple things legit NHL forward do without thinking twice. These are the sorts of players and plays that are needed, even in an 8-year rebuild.
