Kurtis Foster on the loss of his newborn daughter. Star Tribune writer Michael Russo did an excellent job with his article on Foster and family, and their new beginning in Edmonton. Foster was one of three NHL dads forced to suffer through family tragedy last season and they all still carry it close to them. Here's Foster again from Russo's article: "There's been a lot of bumps in the road. We kind of persevered all the way through it and are on the path we hope to be on. My wife and I are doing really well, and we're hoping things start bouncing the right way for us."
