Around SBN: The Worst Team Ever Projected?

Ethan Moreau is a hot commodity out west. San Jose, LA and Anaheim are interested. Putting him on a solid checking line with Pisani and Horcoff is as much of a showcase as it is Pat Quinn trying to shelter his young players from the opposition’s top lines. The Sharks and Ducks seem the most interested.

Anything to get a useless contract gone

If Tambellini can move that deal I’d be stunned.

The lesson of Scott Gomez is that, at least sometimes, boatanchor contracts can be moved for value.

If Tambellini doesn’t "give Moreau away ", he should be fired! On second thought, why hasn’t the clown made sum deal. Anything, any player, anytime now! These players shouldn’t b in the NHL

He needs more time to assess the roster.

I’d go for Logan Couture. Moreau’s a captain after all. Those aren’t cheap.

I’d swap him for a Marleau third jersey. If they turned their nose up, I’d take a Douglas-Murray.

Now you’re talking. I’d even take a used Cheechoo.

Showcasing Ethan?

Wouldn’t it be a better idea to tell him to stay home and tell the media there is a trade imminent. That’s gotta be smarter than putting him on the ice!

The best idea would be to play him against creampuffs and hope that he gets a few goals.
