William Quist suffers knee injury
William Quist, drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the sixth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft (157th overall), suffered a knee injury and will miss six weeks. Quist, 20, has been playing in the Swedish second division with the Nybro Vikings this season.
I hope that the translation is bad, but in a wire release, the injury is described as "his outer ligament of the knee is completely off."
UPDATE: Quist is starting to skate again, so I guess the ligament wasn't completely off. We'll have Johan on the case in the morning.

I’d blame translation. If his ligament was “completely off,” we’re talking surgery and six months of rehab. If he’s skating again, I’d go with a mild sprain.
