William Quist suffers knee injury
William Quist, drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the sixth round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft (157th overall), suffered a knee injury and will miss six weeks. Quist, 20, has been playing in the Swedish second division with the Nybro Vikings this season. I hope that the translation is bad, but in a wire release, the injury is described as "his outer ligament of the knee is completely off." UPDATE: Quist is starting to skate again, so I guess the ligament wasn't completely off. We'll have Johan on the case in the morning.
