Taylor Chorney's latest stint with the Oilers lasted only one game.  Earlier today Chorney was sent back to the Springfield Falcons of the AHL.  The Falcons play both tonight and tomorrow afternoon and Chorney is likely going to be playing both games.  With both Ladislav Smid (Concussion) and Steve Staios (Illness) now listed on the Oilers' official injury report it seems somewhat likely that Chorney is just going down to get into a few more games before being called back to Edmonton for the game against the Blackhawks on Tuesday.  Chorney wasn't impressive in last night's game against Dallas but I think it's still very likely that he, and not another defender, gets the call if both Staios and Smid aren't ready to go.
