We do, since say what you will about Rob Schremp’s shootout magic but he didn’t fan on it.

Unbelievable that he tried this in an actual game situation.

More interesting to me was seeing Pavel Datsyuk emulate Omark’s lob shot move from last season in an actual game situation … and it worked.

Not impressed. I think if Quinn saw that in a game, he’d make up some sort of “hind banana”-esque terminology to describe how showboating in a game is a bad idea, especially when it doesn’t work. :P

I got no problem with a guy trying fancy crap in the shootout, as long as he can make something happen.

Now, maybe Omark nails ninety-five out of a hundred of those in practice and we just saw one of the other five. But it’s the same with Schremp’s lacrosse move: it sure looked good but he almost always missed with it, so I didn’t want him to pull it out of his bag of tricks. If Omark can score doing something like that go for it.

Tend to agree. The lob shot is cheeky but legit; the diving-self-hand-pass just isn’t hockey a ’tall. Save it for the All-Star skills competition.

I dunno. The kid has been doing damn good in the KHL at evens. I’d give him leeway.

It must really be confusing to have three teams named Dinamo in one league. It was bad enough when we had two Roughriders.

They’re in three different countries though.

And Ottawa was technically the Rough Riders but see what difference it made.
