I think Quinn’s lost the room. When players come out and talk about how much worse the bag skates were under the former coach, it’s a clear signal they lack the necessary fear.

RiversQ grabbed another Smid quote from yesterday that is just plain golden:
“I remember my first year here skating without the pucks, I was really surprised. But you know this is my fourth or fifth year so I wasn’t really surprised today.”
Everything is just fine and dandy. That players expect to be so bad they’ll be bag-skated? Need a new arena to solve that.
