Oilers Waive Three
On Monday, the team put Dean Arsene, Chris Minard and Ryan Potulny on waivers.
This shouldn't come as a surprise - Falcons' camp is underway and the three of these guys were longshots to be in the NHL this year. That management exposed them to the waiver wire is not shocking - they are all being handsomely paid in the AHL and that should dissuade most every franchise from filing a claim.

What was the deal with Potulny? He had a big year in the AHL last year but made no noise/was cut before Schremp this camp. Is he just a career AHL’er now with the chance for the occasional cup of coffee in the bigs?
He’s now been sent to the A by four different NHL coaches.
